Cardiff Young Musicians Academi

The Earthsong Foundation is proud to support the Young Musicians Academi, a vital initiative established in the wake of the sudden closure of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s junior department in July 2024. 

The Academi is a new Saturday school founded by dedicated music teachers and supported by CF Music  providing high-quality music education for young talents across Wales. Since opening in September 2024, the Academi has quickly grown, offering Dalcroze-based musicianship classes, instrumental lessons, chamber music coaching, and workshops with aspirations for symphony orchestra and choral programs.

Cardiff Young Musicians Academi is seeking support from organisations to fund bursaries, to ensure that talented students, regardless of financial background, can access this exceptional training, fostering the next generation of musicians and providing continuity for Wales’ vibrant musical community.
